1968 Fender Paisley Red Telecaster
In 1968 Fender introduced the Paisley Red and Blue Flower finishes on the Telecaster and Telecaster Bass,
hoping to appeal to the psychedelic musicians of the "Summer of Love".
This 1968 Paisley Red Telecaster is in fully original condition and from the first year of production.
The stunning finish has barely faded and, unlike the majority of Paisley and Blue Flower Teles,
the clear lacquer shows barely any signs of cracking and lifting.
Uniquely, it has been featured in multiple books and magazines,
most notably in Tony Bacon’s excellent Classic Guitars of the Sixties and 60 Years of Fender.
Complete with original black tolex case and chrome pick up cover.
Simply a must for any serious vintage guitar collection!
